08.4.2004: Extension of work permits and long-term visas (for more than 90 days) for a stay in the Czech Republic

If a foreign individual obtains a work permit and based on it also a long-term visa (for more than 90 days) for a stay in the Czech Republic, the validity of both of them is limited for 365 days. In the case that the foreigner wants to stay in the Czech Republic longer than 365 days, he can apply for an extension of work permit and also for an extension of a long-term visa. more

31.3.2004: A change of a residence address of a foreign individual in the Czech Republic

If a foreign individual obtains a long-term visa (for more than 90 days) in the Czech Republic, a stamp must be put into his passport. The stamp shows his address of residence in the Czech Republic. more

09.3.2004: Changes in the VAT for consignment stock in another EU member states

Many Czech companies which sell their products abroad have also consignment stocks abroad in order to deliver just-in-time. With the change to the Czech VAT Act, there will be changes also the VAT treatment of the deliveries of good to a consignment stock outside the Czech Republic.
